Curious About Kink? Come and Explore With Us.

Curious Collective is for anyone who has ever thought, “What's a Dungeon really like and what is kink really about?”

Maybe you’ve been curious for years but never quite known where to start. You may have been to a few events but still feel like you’re figuring things out. Or perhaps you’re simply looking for a friendly way to meet people, ask questions and get a feel for the scene without having to arrive knowing exactly what you’re doing.

That’s what Curious Collective is all about.

Every two or three months, we open up Casa Kink for an evening that’s designed specifically for curiosity, connection and exploration. It’s relaxed, welcoming and deliberately low-pressure, with plenty of opportunities to meet people, try things out and discover what interests you.

Turn Up Just As You Are

There’s no experience level you need to have and no particular way you need to look, dress or behave.

You don’t need to arrive with a partner. You don’t need to know what you’re interested in. You don’t need to have a collection of toys or a carefully planned list of kinks.

You can come on your own, with friends or with a partner. You can be shy and take your time, or throw yourself into the evening and meet everyone.

The important thing is that you come curious.

It’s More Than a Workshop

We have our Curious About Kink session, where we talk about the basics of navigating kink spaces, consent, negotiation, etiquette and all those questions you might not know who to ask.

But Curious Collective isn't meant to feel like a classroom.

We’ve added interactive activities to help people actually connect with each other. Rather than standing around wondering who you can talk to, we give you some easy ways to break the ice and start getting to know the people around you.

And then there are opportunities to experience some of what makes the kink community so much fun.

Depending on the evening, that might mean getting hands-on with equipment, watching and maybe trying different types of play, trying something completely new, exploring different spaces around Casa or simply watching and chatting with people who are happy to share what they enjoy.

Nothing is compulsory. You decide what you want to explore and what you’d rather leave for another day.

Learn by Doing

Sometimes the best way to understand something is to actually experience it.

Curious Collective gives you the chance to move beyond simply hearing about kink and start getting a feel for it in a safe, supported environment. You might discover that something you've always been fascinated by is definitely for you. You might discover that something you thought you'd love really isn't your thing. You might find yourself fascinated by something you had never even considered before.

That’s part of the fun.

There’s no expectation that you have to find your “thing” in one evening. Kink is a huge playground, and figuring out what you enjoy is part of the journey.

Questions Are Welcome

There are no stupid questions here.

Wondering how people find play partners? Not sure how to approach someone at an event? Want to understand the difference between watching a scene and participating in one? Curious about the equipment you’ve seen but never used?

Ask.

Our collective is made up of people with wildly different experiences, interests and approaches to kink. Curious Collective is a chance to hear those different perspectives, have some real conversations and start finding your own way.

A Safe Place to Start

At Casa, our approach is built around safety, inclusivity and consent.

That means you are always in charge of your own participation. You can say yes, no, not yet or “let me think about it.” You can watch. You can chat. You can try something. You can change your mind.

We want Curious Collective to be a place where you can explore without feeling that you have to prove anything.

And Yes, It Is a Dungeon...

Curious Collective isn't a play party, but Casa's play spaces are part of the experience.

You’re welcome to explore the venue, see what happens in the different spaces and get a better understanding of how a dungeon actually works. You can watch scenes, chat with people and, if you feel ready and have negotiated something you want to try, participate too.

There’s no rush.

Sometimes your first visit is simply about walking through the door and thinking, “Okay... I can see myself here.” That’s a pretty good place to start.

Come Meet Your People

One of the best things about getting involved in kink is discovering just how many different kinds of people make up this community. You’ll find experienced players, complete beginners, people who love dressing up and people who turn up in jeans, people who are passionate about one particular kink and people who are still figuring out what makes them curious.

Curious Collective brings all of those people together.

You might arrive knowing absolutely nobody and leave with a few new friends, a list of things you want to explore and a much better idea of where you fit into the scene. Or you might simply have a really fun evening.

Both are perfectly good outcomes.

What Should You Expect?

Expect a friendly welcome, a few ice breakers, plenty of conversation and an opportunity to explore at your own pace. Expect to learn some things, laugh at others and probably have at least one conversation that you wouldn't normally have anywhere else.

Most importantly, expect to be curious.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for before you arrive. That's what exploring is for.

Curious Collective is your invitation to come and have a look around, meet some people, ask some questions and see where your curiosity takes you.

Come exactly as you are. We'll take it from there.
