As the Cape Town winter lingers, we’re keeping things hot, curious, and cozy at Casa Kink this August. Whether you're here to snuggle up, explore new desires, or deepen your knowledge and connections, our calendar is full of ways to warm your body and spark your imagination.

Amy Nelson - Shamanic Therapist and Sex Educator

Speaking of connection, we’re thrilled to have shamanic therapist and sex educator Amy Nelson for an experiential evening exploring unshaming fears to build a secure connection in non-monogamy at our Non-Monogamy Collective on 6 August. Whether you’re polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, or just curious, Amy will guide an open, supportive conversation around the joys and challenges of loving outside the lines. It’s a space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others on similar journeys.

Our beloved movie nights have evolved into the Sunday Cinema Cuddle Club—a monthly dose of cozy connection and kinky films. Join us Sunday17 August from 2-6pm (movie starts at 3pm) for cuddles, couches, and chill company. No play, just vibes. This month, we’re turning up the camp with an interactive screening of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, bring your boas and big energy!

We are growing our offering to the Swinger Community, with not only a monthly play party, but also a Swingers Collective. This month's Open House Swingers Play Party, is Moonlit Desires. Expect open-minded play, and a relaxed environment to connect, flirt, and maybe explore something new. Following that, our new Open House Swingers Collective offers a more casual vibe; less party, more connection. With full use of the space and a deliciously tongue-in-cheek cunnilingus workshop to kick things off. It’s the perfect setting for open-minded folks looking to learn, laugh, and maybe get lucky.

For the curious kinksters, we have two particularly exciting workshops this month: Intro to Butt Stuff will cover everything from plugs and prep to rimming and technique—no shame, just solid info and a few laughs. And our Hypno Kink Workshop will gently guide you into the world of erotic hypnosis, exploring how altered states and suggestion can deepen sensation, trust, and power exchange.

Finally, we’ll wrap the month with Candlelit Confessions, a deliciously dark and decadent kinky play party themed around shadows, secrets, and seduction. Dress to impress (Catholic guilt couture encouraged), and prepare for a night of slow burn intensity, dim candlelight, and whispered desires. There will be prizes for best dressed and the boldest confession—so don’t hold back.
